STREPTOCOCCAL SORE THROAT- acute bacterial infection of the throat caused by a group of streptococci

SIGN AND SYMPTOMS:

  • abrupt onset of sore throat
  • chilly sensation
  • fever
  • headache
  • body malaise
  • swollen, palpable and tender cervical lymph nodes.
Advise Warm gargles , eat nutritious foods high in vitamin C to increase resistance
